F.A.Q.

Q – Can I keep my same telephone numbers?

A – If your new premises are within the same telephone exchange then generally yes. We can confirm this once we know your old and new business postcodes.

Q – If I am moving out of an area, what happens to my old numbers?

A – There are a number of options:
1. Calls can be redirected to your new premises
2. A recorded message on the old number providing your new contact numbers.
3. In some cases, it may be possible to port the numbers on to IP trunks and have these provided at the new premises. (i.e. keep your numbers)
Your office move specialist will give you all options and costs.

Q – How long does it take to install new lines at the new premises?

A – Analogue and ISDN2 lines usually take up to 10 days to install, ISDN30 lines can take up to 6 weeks. The earlier you call us the better.

Q – Our lines are not currently supplied by Green Telecom, can you still arrange the relocation?

A – Yes, we can manage your move and take over the old numbers at the same time to ensure you maximise the line rental savings available.

Allowing a number of people in different locations to join the same call. Ideal for Sales teams, customer, technical and account manager meetings or meetings with overseas clients and suppliers. Reduce your travel costs and carbon footprint at the same time with this widely accepted business tool.

How to use the Call Conferencing Service:

  1. The initiator Informs all participants of a conference date, time and unique PIN number (choose between 6-20 digits)
  2. Everyone calls 0871 226 2680 at the given time
  3. After the prompts they enter the PIN number provided by the initiator and enter the conference (Tip – Forgotten your pin number? – then use your telephone number instead)

No monthly charges, No call set up fees, No pre-registration and the service is availability 24 / 7 / 365.
Each caller will only be charged 10p per minute to participate from a BT Land line other networks may charge more.

Call Diversion Service – Never miss another call

Call Diversion enables you to divert your calls to another number when you’re away from your phone. Call Diversion lets you divert your calls to almost any phone, including your mobile. You can also divert calls while you’re on the internet or if you’re on the phone.

Once applied to your account as a service you can activate simply by following these 4 steps:

1. Diverting your calls *code*
2. Phone number to divert to #
3. Checking your diversions *#code#
4. Switching off #code

21- Divert all calls.
61- Divert calls you don’t answer within 15 seconds.
67- Divert calls when your phone is engaged.


Call Waiting – Tells you when other callers are trying to get through.

Call Barring Incoming – To bar all calls to your phone.

Call Barring Outgoing – To bar calls made from your phone.

Self-managed, hassle-free and secure.

2. Decide on a PIN number (6 to 9 Digits long)

3. Share the PIN Number with other participant’s.

4.  All Dial in on 0871 226 2680

5. Enter the PIN number when prompted to join the conference.

There is no joining fee or registration necessary. Each caller pays their own charges of 11Pence per minute from a Landline plus the carrier access charge.
